What to pack?

Living in the jungle even for a short period of time can become a challenge if you are not properly equipped.

Unlike local people that are adapted to this lifestyle, tourists and adventurers usually need additional things that will keep them within their comfort zone to help them not get distracted from the retreat-related experiences.

So your life here will become considerably easier by having:

  • A good DEET bug spray ( please try it first for no allergic reactions)

  • Anti-itching creme (in case your defense will be compromised)

  • Sunburn cream ( we are having plenty of shadows to stay in, but  you might still consider being protected)

  • Personal hygiene products ( dental care stuff, shampoo, etc.)

  • Long sleeve shirts/ pants ( this will become extremely handy at night, really handy )

*one more remark about clothes: please take spacious ( ideally linen) summer clothes ( dresses, wide pants, etc)

  • Flip flops ( to walk at the center)

  • Flashlight ( it would be great if it has“red-light mode” not to disturb others during the ceremony at night)

  • Bathing suite ( during the dry season we go swimming at the nearby beach)

  • Rain jacket ( for the jungle excursion)

  • Pair of shoes ( it would be great if they would be “mud-friendly” for the jungle tour ;)

  • Hat

  • Sunglasses

  • Bottle we provide purified water, you bring a reusable bottle - teamwork!)

  • Good intention! ( we have our own that we can share, but additional stuff of this kind is never a bad idea)

Also, speaking about things we can share, we provide you with:

  • Fresh linen

  • Soap

  • Towels

  • Blankets

  • Mosquito net (upon request, if you want an additional layer of protection besides the room’s screening)

  • Filtered water

Now you are equipped and ready for an adventure and for being concentrated on the ceremony!
